Eagle Food Pantry needs your help!

We are in desperate need of more volunteers. We ask that you volunteer to help assemble and hand out bags of food to families in need. One two hour shift per month would really be a great blessing to you, the families and to this very important community ministry. Please email eaglefoodpantry@gmail.com for instructions on how to sign up.

As always, we are so happy to take your support in the form of food assistance or cash donations.

April 2012

Holy Week this year is April 1st through April 8th!

United Methodist Church of Eagle Valley will have daily events

and special invitations to help you celebrate a wonderful week.

** Sunday, April 1st ~ Palm Sunday **

Join us for Sunday AM Worship Services.

** Monday, April 2nd ~ Monday of Holy Week **

** Tuesday, April 3rd ~ Tuesday of Holy Week **

** Wednesday, April 4th ~ Wednesday of Holy Week **

Join us for a very special three-part series with Rebekah Simon-Peter as she leads us in

"Reading the Scriptures through Jewish Eyes."

This series promises to be a very special and memorable event for all.

Please call the office at your earliest convenience to show your interest.

Series will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

of Holy week from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

** Thursday, April 5th ~ Holy Thursday **

Rebekah Simon-Peter will lead us in a full Seder.

This is a very meaningful and special event for the family,

although not recommended for very small children.

Rebekah was here two years ago

and it was an amazing experience for all who attended.

Again, please call the office to show your interest.

We will be selling tickets to this event in the near future.

Seder will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

** Friday, April 6th ~ Good Friday **

Join us for Good Friday services in Eagle at 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm.

** Sunday, April 8th ~ EASTER **

Please join us for our Easter Sunday Worship Services.

Also, each day during Holy Week you will be able to enjoy our labyrinth for prayerful meditation and contemplation. We will post a schedule as we draw near to Holy Week.
